The purpose of Northeast Adventures Ski & Ride (formerly known as Tri-County Homeschoolers Ski Trips) is to connect families for skiing and snowboarding, day and overnight trips, primarily in the Northeast, and primarily midweek. The goal of the club is to seek out the best deals and discounts. We generally promote our trips to homeschooling families, however, we do not restrict participation to only homeschooling families and often extend our group rates to family and friends who are able to take advantage of midweek and non-holiday trips.

The Family Ski Meisters Ski Club was formed in the summer of 1968 by a group of ski enthusiasts who were interested in promoting the sport of downhill skiing at a family level. Their goal was to make the sport of skiing affordable for families with children, provide the opportunity for ski education to all club members to produce better skiers, and provide an atmosphere for children to learn the sport of skiing with their peers in similar age groups. The club has over time evolved to provide a year round schedule of family oriented social activities in addition to the family downhill skiing focus.
